About SHARYN HUNT
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” – Viktor E. Frankl
Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or painful at times, and it’s normal to need support in navigating those challenges. My approach to therapy centers on helping you understand how your life experiences influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors – while supporting you in developing a more empowered response. I strive to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight and clarity, and begin the process of healing and growth.

In our work together, I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach, while integrating tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we will develop practical, effective strategies to help you manage depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, or a general sense of dissatisfaction. My goal is to help you move through emotional barriers so you can feel more grounded, resilient, and fulfilled.

I am committed to providing culturally responsive care and supporting clients from all backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and families. Above all, I aim to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. I would be honored to work with you and walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and healing.
