Individual therapy can be beneficial for those with struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, obsessions, compulsions, coping and social skills difficulties, school/work stress, relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, substance abuse, and more. Different therapeutic models are used depending on specific concerns, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Insight Oriented Therapy. Additionally, parent guidance and education is often incorporated when working with children to provide support at home and in school.
