Lisa Kellogg, PhD, LMFT, LPC
Many of the individuals I work with feel discouraged by patterns in their relationships or emotional experiences that they haven’t been able to shift on their own. Working together, I offer both practical tools and deeper insight—to help you build skills to manage difficult emotions while also understanding the underlying factors contributing to your struggles. Lasting change happens when you are actively engaged in the process, and therapy can help you tap into the strengths you already have to support meaningful growth and healing.
I have a particular interest in working with attachment-related concerns, trauma, and relationship patterns, as well as anxiety, depression, and feeling “stuck.” If or when it’s important to you, we can also explore spirituality and faith—areas that are often impacted by life experiences—and work toward developing a sense of meaning and alignment that feels authentic and supportive.
My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs. I most often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), attachment-focused work, and client-centered therapy, while incorporating elements of Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and solution-focused approaches when helpful. Above all, I prioritize building a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel understood and supported.
I am also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, and as a certified EMDR therapist, I help clients process difficult or traumatic experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming or disruptive in daily life. Many people find that this work allows them to feel more grounded, less reactive, and better able to engage in their relationships and day-to-day experiences with a greater sense of calm.
What I value most about private practice is the ability to collaborate with you in a way that is flexible, intentional, and focused on what works best for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel connected, supported, and empowered to move forward. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out to get started.
