I aim to help you, or your child, cultivate curiosity about your experiences, explore and process big life events, and make meaningful changes that will have a lasting impact. My work with children often incorporates play to foster a positive therapeutic experience and bolster confidence while mastering new skills. Background and Training: Katie Hanna, M.A. is a doctoral candidate at The Chicago School Clinical Psychology (PsyD) Program in Washington, DC where she also earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Her clinical training has included experiences providing psychological assessment and therapy services in hospital, private practice, school, and community mental health settings. She has worked with clients of all ages facing a wide range of challenges including anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, ADHD, social difficulties, parenting challenges, and other emotional concerns.
