Karena Plater, PsyD
I specialize in completing comprehensive, culturally-competent psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and adults struggling with learning, attention, executive functioning, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns.
I work to effectively listen to your needs and investigate educational and life-skills concerns that are interfering with you living your best life. A psychological or neuropsychological evaluation usually consists of a series of formal or structured tests, parent and teacher input as well as clinical interviews designed to identify and describe emotional, behavioral, or learning problems. The purpose of an evaluation is to seek diagnostic clarification, to inform individualized treatment recommendations, to aid in medication management, and to help one better understand self or their child.
