I am passionate about helping you work through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image, interpersonal relationships and life transitions. It can seem as though there are so many impossible standards to live up to in life, and it can be overwhelming to feel like you aren’t meeting those expectations – whether they be expectations you have for yourself or that others may have for you. My intention is to provide you with a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable and heard. Working collaboratively, we will establish therapeutic goals and develop strategies to navigate and overcome identified stressors and challenges. I use strengths-based, trauma-informed and relational approaches in my work with clients. Though I primarily utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) interventions, I also integrate elements of psychodynamic and humanistic therapy, as well as mindfulness, to help you gain insight into how your thoughts, relationships and environments all contribute to your experiences in life and overall well being.

Background: Kailey was born and raised in Connecticut but now resides in Northern Virginia. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2022 and her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences in 2020, both from the University of Connecticut. Kailey has clinical experience working with clients across the lifespan in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient mental health agencies, private practice, as well as medical and psychiatric hospitals.
