Kailey Bousquet, LCSW
I am passionate about helping you work through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image, interpersonal relationships and life transitions. It can seem as though there are so many impossible standards to live up to in life, and it can be overwhelming to feel like you aren’t meeting those expectations – whether they be expectations you have for yourself or that others may have for you. Let’s discover together what YOU want your life to look like so that you can start taking steps towards those goals.
My intention is to provide you with a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable and heard. Working collaboratively, we will establish therapeutic goals and develop strategies to navigate and overcome identified stressors and challenges. I use strengths-based, trauma-informed and relational approaches in my work with clients. I often utilize elements of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness, to help you gain insight into how your thoughts, relationships and environments all contribute to your experiences in life and overall well being. I can also integrate EMDR to aid in processes past traumas and troubling events, which has been shown to be highly effective in relieving distress associated with upsetting experiences.
